There are many types of poultry breeds and various sizes. From smaller birds like silkies to the bigger size of the moran, most do in fact make wonderful pets. For the more experienced keeper some specialist breeders can offer you rare breeds.

Buying tips: When looking for poultry for sale, make sure the hens are well looked after and disease free. Ask the breeder what breeds will mix well with others and how hard they are to look after. If you are buying poultry for the eggs, also ask about the egg numbers and check to see how old the hens are, from young birds, point of lay or pullets. If you are not sure ASK
