Verm-X Gains Prestigious Organic Status

The Verm-X smallholder range has gained approval for use in organic systems following assessment by Organic Farmers & Growers Ltd.

Organic Farmers & Growers Ltd, the highly regarded control vermxbody accredited by Defra, has established its own Organic Assurance Scheme and is able to inspect and certify various operations including animal feed compounders, retailers and wholesalers.

Philip Ghazala, Verm-X Managing Director is delighted: “Becoming certified as organic is fantastic news for Verm-X, organic farmers can now use the certified Verm-X products without derogation when veterinary advice is sought.

“Verm-X is the first and only internal parasite control preparation to gain such pre-approval which is a massive step forward for organically kept stock.

“2010 has been a fantastic year for Verm-X; the organic assurance follows shortly after full Ethical Accreditation was awarded by the ECO, we are truly leading the way with natural internal parasite control.”

The pre-approved products include; Verm-X Pellets for Sheep and Goats, Verm-X for Horses and Ponies, Verm-X for all Poultry, Ducks and Fowl and Verm-X Pellets for Pigs.
