| Description: | Poultry Matters is a small family run business based in North Cumbria. Our small holding is situated on the foothills of the Lake District's Skiddaw mountain range. We are 30 minutes drive from the M6 motorway. Carlisle, Penrith, Keswick, the west coast and South West Scotland are no more than an hours' drive away. Like many others, we have been bitten by the poultry keepers bug. We started with a few ex-battery hens and six Black Rocks and now have over 80 breeding birds with at least two strains of each breed. We have four varieties of pure bred birds all bred and reared by ourselves on the farm. |
